The RIX LEAP L12R is the flagship of the LEAP series, combining a premium 1280×1024 thermal sensor with a 60mm F1.0 objective and <15mK thermal sensitivity. Designed for hunters demanding exceptional image detail and long-range capability, the L12R delivers a major step up in resolution while retaining the familiar feel and controls of the LEAP riflescope platform.
Continuous 2×–6× optical zoom allows magnification changes while maintaining native thermal detail, while the 2560×2560 AMOLED display provides an exceptionally detailed sight picture. The 60Hz refresh rate provides smooth imaging when scanning or tracking moving animals.
The integrated laser rangefinder measures targets out to 1,312 yards and works with the onboard ballistic calculator to provide corrected aiming solutions. Picture-in-Picture mode can display the corrected aiming point for fast target acquisition and more precise shots in the field.
The L12R also features a dual-battery system combining an internal 4000mAh battery with a replaceable 18650 battery for up to 6.5 hours of runtime. Onboard photo and video recording, 64GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a rugged IP67-rated housing complete the package.
